A 73-year-old man from Mexico, Missouri, was injured in a motorcycle crash on Route E, east of Santa Fe, on Friday at 3:20 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man lost control of his northbound 2020 Suzuki V-Strom motorcycle, which overturned and went off the roadway.
The rider was wearing a helmet and sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene by A1 Towing. Agencies responding included the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Monroe County Ambulance, Perry Fire Department, and Survival Flight.
Master Sergeant Mattingly of the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
