Morriston, FL. – A Maryland man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday night in Morriston.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 7:12 p.m. on U.S. Highway 41.
A 51-year-old Morriston man was driving a sedan southbound on Highway 41 and was making a left turn when he struck a 37-year-old Maryland man riding a motorcycle northbound on Highway 41.
The motorcyclist was then struck by multiple vehicles.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
