Port St. Lucie, FL. – A 20-year-old Martin County man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday night in Port St. Lucie.
According to the police, the accident happened around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of S U.S. Highway 1 and Southeast Crosstown Parkway.
A 2023 BMW motorcycle was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 1 with a group of other motorcyclists.
A 2022 GMC pickup and a 2013 Honda 4-door were also traveling north when a motorcyclist sideswiped the Honda.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist into the path of the GMC and was hit.
The rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce where he was pronounced dead.
The drivers of the Honda and the GMC were unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
