Manchester Woman Dies in Motorcycle Crash, Leaving Behind Young Daughter.

Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-384 in Manchester Late Wednesday Night

MANCHESTER, CT—A 21-year-old woman died in a collision on Interstate 384 East near Exit 1B at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Connecticut State Police.

The victim, identified as Miranda Coleman, was a passenger on a Suzuki motorcycle when it struck the rear of a Chevrolet Equinox while traveling in the right lane. Police confirmed that both Coleman and the motorcycle’s operator were thrown from the bike. Coleman was subsequently struck by a BMW in an adjacent lane.

Emergency responders transported Coleman to Manchester Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The motorcycle operator sustained suspected minor injuries, while the drivers of both the Chevrolet and BMW reported no injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, with police urging witnesses or anyone with dashboard-camera footage to contact Trooper First Class John Wilson at john.wilson@ct.gov.

A GoFundMe page established in Coleman’s memory noted her deep love for her two-year-old daughter, Naomi, and requested support for funeral expenses and her daughter’s future.
