MARSHALL CO., Ala. (WAFF) – A Marshall County man was arrested on charges related to the death of a teenager in a motorcycle accident on August 2025.
Alexa Walker, a passenger, sustained injuries when the motorcycle left the road and crashed. The operator, 21-year-old Dakota Hammond, was also ejected from the motorcycle.
Nearly a year after the incident, authorities arrested Hammond and charged him with Manslaughter and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana – 2nd Degree. He has since been released on bond.
No further details have been released regarding the investigation, according to local reports.
