MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Scarff Road Saturday evening.
According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to the incident at approximately 6:20 p.m. on June 13 in Bethel Township.
The rider, identified as Kristen Duffey, 48, of Xenia, reportedly lost control of her motorcycle while traveling northbound, resulting in the vehicle leaving the roadway multiple times.
Emergency personnel arrived and provided life-saving measures before transporting Duffey via medical helicopter to a local hospital.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into the crash.
