A Michigan man died in a motorcycle crash Sunday on Hanging Rock Parkway near Route 805 in Scott County.
According to Virginia State Police, Dennis J. Jisa, 83, of Ortonville, Mich., was driving a 2010 Honda motorcycle southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, and struck a guardrail. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Jisa was pronounced dead.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no further injuries were reported. Authorities confirmed that the crash is under investigation.
