POTOSI, Wis. — A motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a 63-year-old man from Minnesota, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. along Brouillard Hill Road, west of Old Potosi Road. Authorities identified the victim as Timothy Ravn of St. Paul, Minnesota. Officials reported that Ravn was traveling west when the rear tire of his 2019 Harley Davidson locked, causing the motorcycle to skid onto its side.
Despite wearing a full-face helmet and protective jacket, Ravn sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at Grant Regional Hospital in Lancaster.
The investigation is ongoing.
