CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WSBT) — A woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash involving a deer in Cass County Friday night.
The incident occurred just before midnight at the Gumwood and Redfield roundabout. Authorities reported the motorcyclist swerved to avoid a deer and subsequently lost control, striking a curb.
The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to police.
Emergency services transported her to a local hospital for treatment. No other vehicles were involved, and the investigation is ongoing.
