RENVILLE COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) – A motorcycle crash on Saturday resulted in the death of a 52-year-old Minot woman and serious injuries to the driver.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. when 66-year-old William Foondle of Minot failed to negotiate a curve on County Road 26.
Foondle was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, while the female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither individual was wearing a helmet.
Authorities stated that Foondle has been charged with DUI and operating a motorcycle without an endorsement. The crash remains under investigation.
