Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G reports multiple injury accidents over the weekend.

A 74-year-old man from Mansfield was seriously injured Friday in a motorcycle accident on Missouri 5, two miles north of Ava.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the man’s motorcycle collided with the rear of another vehicle making a turn. He was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

In a separate incident Sunday, two juveniles were injured in Texas County when a 16-year-old boy drove off the road, struck a tree, and overturned on U.S. 63, six miles north of Licking. The 13-year-old passenger sustained moderate injuries, while the 16-year-old suffered minor injuries.

Also on Sunday, a 63-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was seriously injured when his motorcycle overturned on Highway 19, 17 miles north of Eminence. He was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Additionally, a 33-year-old man from Hartville was injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway F, seven miles northwest of Hartville. Authorities reported he sustained moderate injuries when he traveled off the road and overturned.

Emergency responders were on the scene for all incidents, and investigations are ongoing.
