ULSTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A motorcycle accident on State Route 220 claimed the life of a 45-year-old woman on April 5.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the motorcycle was traveling south when it experienced a steering issue, causing it to veer off the road and into a ditch. The vehicle came to a sudden stop, ejecting both riders.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. The passenger, identified as Valerie M. Schrader, succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident, and further details regarding the scene and potential lane closures are pending.
