Motorcycle accident in New Sewickley Township claims one life.

Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in New Sewickley Township

A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle accident on Fezell Road in New Sewickley Township at approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 13.

According to New Sewickley Township Police Chief Gregory Carney, the motorcycle was traveling north on the 500 block of Fezell Road when it left the roadway, overturned, and went over an embankment. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have not released the identity pending family notification.

There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the incident. The investigation remains ongoing, as New Sewickley Police continue to piece together the events leading to the accident.

Fezell Road, between Ridge and Blackswoods roads, was closed for about three hours to facilitate the investigation. New Sewickley Fire District, Cranberry EMS, and the Beaver County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
