ASHEVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A motorcycle crash in east Asheville on Friday night resulted in one fatality and serious injuries.
Authorities responded to the incident at 9:02 p.m. in the 200 block of Tunnel Road. A preliminary investigation reveals that a Yamaha motorcycle, operated by 34-year-old Justin Tyler Evans, was speeding west on Tunnel Road before colliding with a 2020 Dodge Journey turning left onto Buckstone Place.
Both Evans and his passenger were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained critical injuries. They were transported to Mission Hospital, where Evans later succumbed to his injuries.
