GLENCOE, Wis. – A 55-year-old Madison man sustained life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. on Rotering Ridge Road near Canada Ridge Road, according to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office. The motorcyclist was traveling west when he lost control and veered off the roadway, tumbling over a small embankment.
Emergency responders from the Arcadia Fire Department and Waumandee First Responders provided assistance at the scene. The rider was transported to a nearby hospital by Arcadia Ambulance.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released the identity of the rider. Authorities indicated that speed and unfamiliarity with the road may have contributed to the accident. An investigation is ongoing.
