Motorcycle crash in Sauk County leaves one dead and two hospitalized.

TOWN OF WINFIELD, Wis. — A motorcycle crash on County Road K near Biesek Road resulted in one fatality and two serious injuries on Saturday evening.

According to the Sauk County Dispatch Center, the incident was reported at approximately 7:29 p.m. A 32-year-old man from Lyndon Station was riding a 2020 Harley-Davidson northbound when he collided with two southbound motorcycles.

Authorities confirmed that a 68-year-old man operating a 2024 Harley-Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 63-year-old woman, was airlifted to a Madison-area hospital via Med Flight.

A 37-year-old man riding a 2008 Victory motorcycle sustained minor injuries and was treated on-site. His passenger, a 29-year-old woman, was also airlifted to the same hospital.

Authorities said that alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors. Names of those involved will be released pending family notification.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
