PIKE COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A motorcycle crash in Pike County on August 6 resulted in the death of a Tylertown resident.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the incident on Highway 575 at approximately 11:40 a.m.
According to authorities, 39-year-old Williams Shultz was riding north on a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle when it left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
Shultz sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information has been released.
