Motorcyclist Killed in North Side Crash on Saturday Evening
CHICAGO — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on North DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Saturday evening, according to Chicago Police.
The incident occurred in the Lincoln Park neighborhood around 7:20 p.m. Authorities reported that a 20-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling northbound when he lost control and struck a barrier. He subsequently fell into the southbound lane, where he was hit by another vehicle.
Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.
The Chicago Police Department’s Major Accidents Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details were available at this time.
