SCHUYLER, N.Y. — A man sustained critical injuries in a motorcycle crash on Route 5 around 12:30 p.m. on October 23.
According to New York State Police, responders found a motorcycle on its side alongside another vehicle with significant front-end damage. The motorcycle operator was transported by ambulance to Wynn Hospital and subsequently airlifted to a Syracuse hospital for further treatment.
Route 5 was closed for several hours following the incident to facilitate emergency response and investigation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
