TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A 44-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on I-75 early this morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. when the rider lost control while exiting onto I-4.
Authorities reported that wet road conditions contributed to the loss of control, leading to the motorcycle overturning and colliding with a guardrail.
Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, and the man was pronounced dead on site.
The roadway was briefly closed for investigation and cleanup; no other vehicles were involved.
The identity of the rider has not been released pending notification of family.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
