Walker County, TN — A three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred on GA-1 at Chambers Road around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), a gray Chevrolet Traverse traveling north on GA-1 made a left turn in front of a southbound gray Suzuki motorcycle.
The Traverse also collided with a silver Chrysler van that was stopped at the intersection. The driver of the Traverse fled the scene on foot.
Witnesses identified the suspect, who was later located at her residence. The motorcycle rider was found unresponsive and transported to Erlanger Medical Center.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Traverse was arrested for DUI, hit and run, and serious injury by motor vehicle, among other charges.
