Fargo Motorcycle Crash Leaves One Dead
FARGO, N.D. — A West Fargo man, 34-year-old Christopher Bredemus, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Main Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol confirmed Bredemus was riding a motorcycle that collided with a motorhome shortly before 4 p.m. at Main Avenue and 42nd Street. He was transported to Sanford Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities said the motorhome’s 86-year-old driver from Grand Forks was uninjured. The motorhome was reportedly making a left turn into a parking lot when the motorcycle, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the passenger side in a T-bone style collision.
Westbound traffic on Main Avenue was closed from 40th to 43rd 1/2 Streets for the investigation, though eastbound lanes remained open. The crash scene was cleared, and traffic resumed normal flow later in the evening.
Charges against the motorhome driver are under investigation, and the Highway Patrol is reconstructing the crash as part of the ongoing investigation.
Fargo Police advised drivers to avoid the area during the response and investigation.
