A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash with a car on Kent Kangley Road at 12:27 p.m. on July 23, 2025, according to the Kent Police Department.
The collision occurred in the 13300 block of SE Kent Kangley Road, where witnesses reported the motorcycle traveling eastbound at high speed before striking a red Toyota sedan. First responders from Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority found the male motorcyclist in critical condition and provided lifesaving aid before airlifting him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The sedan’s driver, a 45-year-old Kent woman, was uninjured and remained at the scene. Authorities reported that she cooperated with the investigation and showed no signs of impairment.
The Kent Police Traffic Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry, focusing on the potential role of speed in the crash. Traffic was temporarily disrupted in the area as emergency personnel conducted their response and investigation.
