A Pequot Lakes man sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle crash involving a deer Tuesday evening on County Road 1 in Pillager, Minnesota.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred around 9:11 p.m. on June 9. First responders found the rider had collided with a deer, resulting in the motorcycle accident.
Emergency personnel provided initial treatment on-site, but the rider was subsequently airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities for further medical care.
The response involved multiple agencies, including PILLAGER FIRE AND RESCUE, NORTH MEMORIAL AMBULANCE, and LIFE LINK.
No confirmed fatalities were reported. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
