Homeland Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 28-Year-Old Rider
A 28-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a minivan in Homeland, Riverside County, on Monday, July 27, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 4:22 p.m. in the 31500 block of McWade Avenue, near Ritter Avenue, about a quarter mile south of Highway 74. Authorities reported that a Dodge van and the motorcycle collided, resulting in the rider being thrown onto the roadway.
Emergency personnel from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived to find the motorcyclist in cardiac arrest. Life-saving measures were attempted before he was transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he was pronounced dead approximately one hour later.
The deceased was identified as Samuel M. of Homeland. The driver of the Dodge van was not injured and remained at the scene, cooperating with investigators.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
