Motorcyclist Injured in Sparks Boulevard Collision, Investigation Underway
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with an SUV on Sparks Boulevard near Disc Drive on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2026.
Sparks Police, Sparks Fire, and REMSA responded to the incident at approximately 1:36 p.m. According to authorities, the motorcycle was traveling northbound when an SUV attempted to turn left onto Sparks Boulevard from a business complex, resulting in a collision.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the SUV, ejecting the rider. Emergency responders transported the injured motorcycle operator to a local hospital. The SUV driver remained at the scene and was not injured.
The Sparks Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is leading the ongoing investigation. No additional details have been released at this time.
