Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Toledo Crash on West Alexis Road

TOLEDO, Ohio — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision on West Alexis Road on Friday evening, according to the Toledo Police Department.

The crash occurred around 6:47 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Alexis Road. An eastbound motorcycle collided with a vehicle making a left turn from a shared driveway to head westbound, police reported.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the bike, resulting in severe injuries. Emergency responders transported the rider to Toledo Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as a 32-year-old Toledo resident, who had a 5-year-old passenger at the time of the incident. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.

Authorities stated the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made related to the crash.
