MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WSBT) — A motorcycle crash on Monday afternoon in Michigan City claimed the life of a 34-year-old man.
The incident occurred at the intersection of East William Street and Pine Street at approximately 4:30 p.m.
According to police, Brandon Summerlin was riding south on Pine Street when another vehicle attempted to turn in front of him.
Summerlin braked, causing him to fall off the motorcycle, but he did not collide with the other vehicle.
He was airlifted to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for a chemical test; results are currently pending.
