CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A 27-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a pickup truck on County Road 215 at Blanding Boulevard on Thursday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Ford F350 towing a flatbed trailer was stopped on CR 215, preparing to turn left onto Blanding Boulevard. The motorcyclist, traveling south on Blanding, struck the truck and trailer after the truck turned in front of him.
Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities stated they do not believe alcohol or impairment contributed to the incident.
