A man was killed in a motorcycle-SUV collision Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Coral Ridge Drive and Wiles Road in Coral Springs, authorities reported.
The crash occurred around 1:44 p.m., resulting in the death of one man, who has not yet been identified. Emergency services responded promptly, and police closed all westbound lanes of Wiles Road from Northwest 110th Avenue to Coral Ridge Drive as investigators worked at the scene.
Sky 10 footage revealed a motorcycle tipped on its side and a maroon SUV with deployed airbags. A tarp was seen covering the victim, while a significant police presence was noted.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with authorities reviewing vehicle positions, witness statements, and possible surveillance footage. Traffic resumed normally after the westbound lanes reopened.
