BREVARD, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 in Brevard County on Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. near mile marker 176 while the rider was traveling southbound. Witnesses reported the motorcycle veered off the roadway and struck a light pole.
Emergency responders transported the rider to Palm Bay Hospital, where the person was pronounced dead, authorities said. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
