GREENE COUNTY – A motorcyclist died Friday night following a crash on U.S. Highway 98 near Mississippi Highway 57.
The incident occurred on March 6 at approximately 9:45 p.m. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, operated by 69-year-old Thomas J. Everett of Daphne, Alabama, was traveling west when it veered off the roadway and collided with a utility power pole.
Everett sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greene County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
