One Dead in McCook Motorcycle Collision
MCCook, Neb. (KLKN) – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West B Street and Highway 83 resulted in one fatality on Wednesday, October 4, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
According to McCook Police, the collision involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling west on B Street and a Ford F150 traveling east on B Street, attempting to turn north onto Highway 83.
The motorcycle was operated by 28-year-old Eugene Bailey, while the Ford was driven by 52-year-old Solio Rodriguez. Both drivers were transported to McCook Community Hospital, where Bailey was later pronounced dead.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol. Traffic delays were reported in the area, but lane closures were not specified. Further details will be provided as they become available.
