HART COUNTY, Ga. — A Hartwell man died in a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Reed Creek Highway on March 22.
The incident occurred at 1:22 p.m. at the intersection of Reed Creek Highway and Boat Road. Deputies from the HART COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, along with HART COUNTY EMS and fire personnel, responded to the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate the motorcycle was traveling toward Hartwell when it collided with two other vehicles. The motorcycle ended up on the left shoulder of the roadway.
The rider, identified as 31-year-old Ryan McKenzie Craft, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The GEORGIA STATE PATROL is assisting with the investigation, and the HART COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE also responded.
Authorities have not released further details as the investigation is ongoing.
