Motorcyclist dies in Williston crash on Thursday.

WILLISTON, N.D. — A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle on Thursday, Sept. 17, at approximately 10:22 p.m.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when a 34-year-old male motorcyclist from Williston was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja west on 34th Street West. A 2008 GMC Yukon, driven by a 30-year-old woman from Williston, was traveling north on First Avenue West.

Authorities reported that the motorcyclist disregarded a stop sign and struck the rear side of the Yukon. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Both occupants of the Yukon were uninjured. No charges are pending, and the crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
