A motorcyclist died after crashing into a pole early Thursday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest 35th Street and Sarah Road. According to police, the crash involved only the motorcycle, which struck a pole, resulting in the driver’s death at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released by authorities. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No additional vehicles or injuries were reported.
Authorities have not indicated if there will be any lane closures as a result of the crash.
