Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Newton County Crash Near Granby.

A 23-year-old man from Neosho died Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Hebron Road near Granby, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. on June 25. The man was riding a westbound 2006 Honda CR900F motorcycle when he lost control, veered off the road, and collided with an eastbound 2015 Infiniti QX60.

The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m. by the Newton County Deputy Coroner. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Infiniti, a 61-year-old woman from Granby, was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. The Honda motorcycle was declared a total loss and towed from the scene by Ron’s Towing, while the Infiniti sustained minor damage and was driven away.

Next of kin have been notified, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The incident is marked as Troop D’s 60th fatal crash of 2026. A master sergeant with the patrol is conducting the ongoing investigation.
