Motorcyclist Flies Off Bike After Being Struck by 15-Year-Old Driver Near Heritage High School in Menifee, Police Report.

MENIFEE, Calif. (KABC) — A collision involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday near the intersection of Briggs Road and Highway 74, according to the Menifee Police Department.

Authorities confirmed the driver of the car, a Nissan, was a 15-year-old without a driver’s license, attempting a U-turn to participate in a student walkout at Heritage High School. The unintentional impact resulted in an 18-year-old motorcyclist being struck.

Both the motorcyclist and the driver were reported to be uninjured, with the motorcyclist only experiencing minor pain. No hospital transport was necessary, and no arrests have been made. Authorities indicated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the incident.

An investigation is ongoing. Witnesses or anyone with further information are urged to contact Officer Clay at the Menifee Police Department Traffic Unit at (951) 723-1566 or (951) 723-1500.

Students across Southern California participated in protests against ICE on Friday, which may have contributed to the gathering at the school.
