Multiple-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Injures Two, Closes Northbound Lanes Near Maplewood Avenue
A multiple-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 75 northbound, near Maplewood Avenue, shortly after 4:30 p.m. on October 23.
Authorities reported that three vehicles were involved in the collision, resulting in at least two individuals sustaining injuries. Emergency medical services transported the injured to a nearby hospital; their current condition is unknown.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Traffic was significantly impacted, with lane closures in place as crews worked to clear the scene. Towing services were called to remove the damaged vehicles.
According to witnesses, the crash may have been caused by sudden braking in heavy traffic.
