Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Route 405 and Route 44 in Delaware Township, PA.

Delaware Township, PA (July 26, 2026) – A motorcyclist died and another person sustained injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV at State Route 405 and State Route 44 on July 25.

According to state police, 50-year-old Adam Erdly of Montgomery was traveling north on State Route 405 when the SUV entered the intersection while traveling eastbound on State Route 44 without clearance.

Authorities reported that the motorcycle struck the passenger-side tire of the SUV. Erdly suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical evaluation, where he was later pronounced dead. Further details regarding the time or location of his death have not been released.

The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while a passenger received on-scene treatment for suspected minor injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation by the PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE.
