Brighton, N.Y. — A motorcyclist died following a collision on Interstate 590 on Saturday night, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred when the motorcycle struck a guardrail on the northbound segment of I-590 at Monroe Avenue. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist, Jerry May, 28, of Rochester, succumbed to injuries at the scene.
Emergency services responded promptly, leading to temporary lane closures while the scene was cleared. The expressway has since reopened.
