Friday, June 5 — WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — A man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and car on the Muskogee Turnpike Thursday morning.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. as both vehicles were traveling northbound.
Authorities said the car rear-ended the motorcycle after the motorcycle made a sudden stop in the outside lane.
The motorcyclist, identified as 57-year-old Thomas Pless of Wagoner, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Emergency services were on site to provide medical aid, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
