Blythe Township, Schuylkill Co. — A man died following a motorcycle crash in Schuylkill County on Saturday afternoon.
Pennsylvania State Police report that 53-year-old James Lake was riding north on Mountain Road when he lost control while navigating a left-hand curve.
Lake was transported to Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Pottsville, where he was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts.
Authorities confirmed that Lake was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and no other vehicles were involved.
The roadway was briefly closed for investigation and clearance.
