Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in 405 Freeway Collision in Sherman Oaks
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on the northbound 405 Freeway near the Burbank Boulevard off-ramp on March 7 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the collision involved one motorcycle and one vehicle. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) provided on-site medical aid before transporting the motorcyclist to a local hospital in serious condition. No other injuries or arrests were reported.
Both the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane and an adjacent lane were temporarily closed during emergency response efforts but have since reopened. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. An investigation into the collision is ongoing, according to authorities.
