Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in a collision with a pickup truck in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, on Wednesday evening.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Willow Road and New Holland Pike at approximately 5:56 p.m., according to the East Lampeter Township Police Department.
Police said the preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle was traveling east on New Holland Pike while the pickup truck, facing north on Willow Road, attempted to make a left turn onto westbound New Holland Pike when the collision occurred.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities confirmed. The Lancaster County Crash Team is assisting in the investigation.
