BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A New York man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 78 in Somerset County Sunday afternoon.
Troopers responded to the crash at 3:22 p.m. on I-78 eastbound at milepost 28.1.
According to a preliminary investigation, Leron E. Grayson, 30, of Middletown, was operating a BMW motorcycle when he collided with the rear of a Toyota passenger vehicle.
The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting Grayson. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Authorities reported no injuries to the occupants of the Toyota.
The crash is under investigation, and no further details are available.
