TUCSON, Ariz. (Local News Wire) – A motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in a crash on SR 77 near Saddlebrook at 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18.
According to Arizona DPS, the incident involved a motorcycle colliding with the rear of a small SUV.
Emergency response units arrived on the scene to provide medical aid to the motorcyclist, whose current condition remains unconfirmed. No fatalities have been reported.
Authorities have initiated an investigation; however, preliminary witness reports indicate the motorcyclist was speeding prior to the crash.
As a result of the accident, significant lane closures were implemented on SR 77, and towing services were called to assist with vehicle removal.
