TERRY, MS – A fatal collision occurred on Owens Road involving a motorcycle and a Chevy Impala just before 10:00 p.m. on Thursday.
According to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office, a red motorcycle and a white Chevy Impala were involved in the crash. The motorcycle sustained significant damage, while the Impala exhibited front and side damage.
Authorities identified the motorcyclist as 55-year-old Rayburn Coker, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders, including the coroner and sheriff’s investigators, were dispatched to the site.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing. No additional details regarding other injuries or the circumstances of the crash have been released. Roadway conditions were not reported as a factor.
