Two Men from Nettleton Killed in Separate Lee County Crashes
TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — Two men from Nettleton died in separate vehicle crashes in Lee County this week.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday, February 14, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on North Gloster Street near the Mississippi Department of Transportation facility. According to authorities, a motorcycle operated by 23-year-old Alexander Sparks collided with an SUV. Sparks was pronounced dead at the scene by Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green.
A second crash took place on Thursday morning, February 15, between Plantersville and Nettleton. Authorities confirmed that another Nettleton resident died in this incident. Details regarding the vehicles involved and the exact location have yet to be released.
Emergency responders have been on site for both incidents, but the specific agencies responding have not been disclosed. Investigations into both crashes are ongoing, and no further information regarding injuries or traffic disruptions has been confirmed.
