PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KATV) — A motorcycle crash in Jefferson County on Monday resulted in the deaths of a father and daughter.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s office, 44-year-old Joanthony Garcia and his daughter, 22-year-old Junique Garcia, were ejected from their motorcycle while traveling on US Highway 79.
The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. when they failed to navigate a curve. They subsequently left the roadway, hitting the curb.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that road conditions were dry and visibility was clear at the time.
